Human vision is the process by which our eyes capture information and the brain process it to create images of the world around us. Briefly, it involves the eyes capturing light, converting it into electrical signals, and sending those signals to the brain for interpretation, allowing us to perceive our environment.
Autostereoscopic, light field and holographic displays use different techniques to convince the brain that what it’s processing is real. While some of the techniques are listed in other sections of this documentation, here we focus on techniques and issues that are related to the human vision system.
